The map is not only cities and borders. Corto's Wildlife category is about the living world: where the great reserves are, which city holds a famous zoo, where on Earth an animal actually lives, and the routes of the great migrations. Five packs, hundreds of species and sites, from the Serengeti to a single mountain range in Sichuan.
Corto is free to download, and it is not pay-to-play. No ads interrupt you, no energy meter runs out, no lives to wait for. Play as many rounds as you like. World Cities and the learning packs are free forever; the rest are a one-time unlock, never a subscription.
Every pack runs on the same engine. A place or animal is named, you tap it on the map, and you score up to 1,000 points per question on accuracy and speed. A game is ten questions, two minutes, 10,000 points possible. For reserves and zoos you find the exact spot; for animal ranges, a tap anywhere inside the range or refuge scores full. Play solo, or challenge a friend head-to-head over Game Center. Miss a tap and Corto shows you the right spot, so every round teaches you something.
Corto's Wildlife category has five packs: Safari Reserves, Zoos & Aquariums, One-Home Species, Endangered Strongholds, and Great Migrations.
Corto is free to download and it is not pay-to-play. No ads interrupt you, no energy meter runs out, no lives to wait for. Play as many rounds as you like. World Cities and the learning packs are free forever; themed packs like Safari Reserves are a one-time unlock, never a subscription.
For One-Home Species and Endangered Strongholds you tap where the animal actually lives. A tap inside its range or refuge scores full, then falls off with distance, so you learn real biogeography, not just a single pixel.
Corto is free for iPhone and iPad, no ads, ever.
